2024 nc state Championship
One for the record books
There were 207 Registered shooters representing 18 States at this year's State Championship, with 191 participating on 11 posses.
We were blessed to have ideal weather with just a few small sprinkles.
It was never too hot and light jackets were optional in the mornings.
Friday night saw a record number of folks at our on-Range Pig Out BBQ that was prepared and served by members of Gunpowder Creek Regulators with pitmaster Brewman. Music was again provided by the Cockman Family (2023 inductee into the The Blue Ridge Music Hall of Fame) and a special Cowboy Church with Lash Toru.
Saturday concluded with a maximum capacity awards banquet at the Rowan County History Museum with first year caterer Boondocks Brewing Catering all the way from West Jefferson, NC.
Congratulations
Terrible Tyler once again posted some blistering times as our top shooter.
The top 25 shooters were right on Terrible Tyler's heals resulting in less than 1 minute difference between 1st place and 25th.
